O&M Halyard Australia participated in the 10th Annual PASA Health & Aged Care Procurement Conference—Australia’s largest gathering of health and aged care procurement professionals, with over 300 attendees. The team connected with existing and potential customers while gaining key insights into the evolving procurement landscape.
A strong focus on sustainability emerged, with themes such as “Procure-ment for Good,” Green guidelines from the Australian Government, and aligning sustainable practices across functions. These learnings will help inform and strengthen our ESG strategy as we continue to support the healthcare sector with responsible and innovative solutions.

Jenene and Nicci attended three education days hosted by Independence Australia, a social enterprise that supports individuals living with a disability, injury, or chronic illness. Their mission is to help people maintain independence and improve quality of life.
We showcased our range of infection control and incontinence solutions to community care nurses who rely on day-to-day protection. These sessions reinforced the importance of continuing to raise awareness of our products among end-users who truly value quality and reliability.

In mid-April, O&M Halyard showcased our PUREZERO* Cleanroom Gloves at two major industry events in Asia. At COPHEX, Korea’s leading Cosmetics and Pharmaceutical Exhibit in Seoul, our team alongside two distributors engaged with over 500 visitors, generating 90+ high-potential leads now being actively followed up by distributor sales teams. Simultaneously, at the China International Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Exhibit (CIPM) in Chongqing, our distributor Teneris featured our PUREZERO* HG3 and HG5 Gloves, attracting around 300 visitors and identifying 70 promising leads. Both events have strengthened our presence in these key markets and set the stage for continued growth through close collaboration with our distributor partners.
EMA – Hong Kong and Singapore
Strengthening Partnerships and Promoting Hand Hygiene

The EMA Halyard team recently collaborated with United Italian Corporation (UIC), our Hong Kong distributor, to conduct a two-day Competency Refresher and Goal-Setting Workshop. The sessions focused on our top four growth drivers and introduced new sales tools, including the 5-step Gloves Inservice SOP and the Surgical Interactive Tool.
In Singapore, during Hand Hygiene Week, our team showcased the importance of “It’s What You Can’t See That Matters” with our gloves and PPE product offerings. Through an innovative Play-Doh demonstration, we highlighted the presence of fillers in gloves, emphasizing the critical role of proper glove selection in infection prevention.

The 13th Annual Meeting of the Infection Control Network of Japan brought together around 1,480 Infection Control Nurses (ICNs) nationwide to discuss topics such as infection control practices, hand hygiene, surveillance, and career development. At the HALYARD booth, we showcased our chemotherapy gloves—PINK UNDERGUARD and PURPLE XTRA—alongside standard exam gloves including LAVENDER, AQUASOFT, and STERLING. A booth survey revealed strong recognition of double gloving’s importance but limited awareness of PINK UNDERGUARD, making this event a valuable platform to raise product awareness and reinforce HALYARD’s role in infection prevention and exposure control.

Driving HCP Safety Across India: iPROTECT Conclaves & Industry Engagement ,April–June 2025 | Multiple Cities, India

Between April and June, the O&M Halyard India team, in collaboration with Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organization
(CAHO), successfully conducted six iPROTECT Conclaves across major hospitals in Delhi, Bangalore, Kochi, and Pune. These high-impact sessions brought together over healthcare professionals including surgeons, anesthetists, infection control experts, nursing leaders, and procurement heads.
Each conclave focused on HCP safety in the OT environment, the importance of selecting the right PPE, and ensuring compliance with medical device regulations and infection prevention standards.
Key highlights included:
- Expert-led panel discussions on HCP protection challenges and OT safety protocols
- Live PPE donning and doffing demos by clinical staff, showcasing proper technique and compliance
- Pre- and post-session quizzes, with participants receiving CAHO-endorsed certificates
- Valuable insights into procurement behaviours, including the emphasis on quality PPE over price
These conclaves, part of a broader initiative targeting India’s Top 20 Key Accounts for 2025, have proven instrumental in raising awareness, bridging knowledge gaps, and promoting behavioural change to enhance frontline safety.
