Engaging with over 200 perioperative and healthcare professionals across two major national events, we showcased our infection control solutions. NSW OTA(Operating Theatre Association) brought quality surgical conversations while Australian Healthcare Week(AHW) reinforced our leadership in infection prevention.

Over 200 perioperative professionals and 30 exhibitors came together in Sydney for this year’s vibrant NSW OTA Conference. Across the two-day event, we seized the opportunity to connect with key decision-makers, generate high-quality leads, and showcase the superior performance and protection of our surgical solutions—leaving a lasting impression on attendees.

Live demonstrations, hands-on product trials, and one-on-one discussions enabled meaningful conversations around safety, comfort, and performance in the OR. With the 2025 theme, “From Womb to Tomb – Perioperative Excellence Across the Age Continuum,” the conference focused on challenges across all age brackets. Set at the serene Waterview in Bicentennial Park, the event provided the perfect backdrop to highlight perioperative nursing excellence.

Australian Healthcare Week brought together professionals across care settings to tackle key issues in infection prevention and sustainability. Halyard’s AQUASOFT and 2n1 Cleaning & Disinfectant wipes attracted strong interest, generating over 35 leads and valuable market insights.

Key discussions included inconsistent PPE use, MRSA risks, and rising adoption of “Gloves Off” policies. Dr. Hayden Snow highlighted waste reduction through reusable drapes, while our team raised awareness of the risks linked to reusable surgical gowns using microscope visuals and the Leave Linen campaign. We also introduced our new glove-use initiative to support safe, sustainable practices

On March 22nd, O&M Halyard Team India made a significant stride in its 2025 strategy by focusing on Clinical Education to drive value beyond products. In association with Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organisations (CAHO), a reputed medical organisation, O&M Halyard hosted the iPROTECT CXO Roundtable in Delhi, bringing together 14 visionary CXOs from leading hospital groups. The half-day event focused on healthcare professional safety and evolving medical device regulations in India. The objective was to bring to the forefront healthcare professional safety and protection in the backdrop of evolving medical device regulations and standards in India. The carefully crafted half day program drew out deliberations, experiences and suggestions that can relook into and shape policies and conversations on Healthcare professional (HCP) safety.
Change begins with powerful conversations—and the CXOs, with candour and conviction, shared their perspectives on reimagining protection for frontline professionals. A summary of the discussion will be featured in the CAHO magazine to amplify these voices across the healthcare community.

The first iPROTECT CONCLAVE, in association with CAHO, was held at Apollo Hospital – Chennai on 29 March 2025. This meeting kickstarts a series of cascade meetings planned in 20 key accounts this year, aligned with our strategic imperative to accelerate awareness and policy changes around HCP safety and compliance with medical device regulations.

Content creation began in January, with experts from CAHO and O&M Halyard collaborating to deliver curated materials covering case scenarios, medical device regulations, and guidelines on selecting appropriate PPE. The expert panel included CEOs, infection control specialists, microbiologists, surgeons, OT nurses, testing labs, and purchase heads—ensuring a well-rounded stakeholder perspective.

INFECTION CONTROL PRODUCT PRESENTATION @ ECON HEALTHCARE 2025 | 19 MARCH | SINGAPORE

As part of our strategic initiative to grow in the aged care segment, the O&M Halyard Singapore team—Tina Chen, Aimee Kwan, and Jonathan Tan—secured and led a product demonstration for Econ Healthcare, which operates nine Medicare centres and nursing homes across Singapore.

Attended by all Centre Heads, Managers, and Quality/Infection Control staff, the session showcased our AQUASOFT* SmartPull* dispensing technology, with a focus on minimising cross-contamination, reducing glove bricking, and preventing wastage. Our HALYARD* 2in1* wipes also impressed attendees with their strength and durability. The positive feedback and high engagement have paved the way for targeted follow-ups and further collaboration with ECON Healthcare.

THE 39TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE JAPANESE SOCIETY OF CANCER NURSING – 22-23 FEBRUARY, HOKKAIDO, JAPAN & 2025 THE JAPANESE SOCIETY OF MEDICAL ONCOLOGY ANNUAL MEETING – 6-8 MARCH, KOBE, JAPAN

O&M Halyard Japan recently participated in two major oncology events in Japan’s —the 39th Annual Conference of the Japanese Society of Cancer Nursing in Hokkaido, which welcomed over 4,000 certified and expert cancer nurses, and the Japanese Society of Medical Oncology Annual Meeting in Kobe, drawing more than 6,800 healthcare professionals including doctors, pharmacists, and nurses.

With chemotherapy as a key focus area, our team showcased the HALYARD PINK UNDERGUARD* and PURPLE NITRILE-XTRA* gloves along with our Chemotherapy gowns. Attendees were invited to experience the quality of our PPE first-hand at the booth. We also launched an awareness initiative reinforcing the critical role of double-gloving in chemotherapy preparation and administration, underscoring our commitment to healthcare worker safety in oncology.
